A NEW YEAR COMES

A New Year comes, and for us, an author, a new challenge. We must now begin

“readings” of our childrens’ book, Bedtime Stories That Will Terrify Children, to eye

staring, wine sipping, audiences.

Actually, we detest the word, challenge; the false fashion of it; the with it ness of it.

What we have here is a problem. Why not just say so? And, we do.

The problem is that we have never before done such author talks. Worse, we have

never even gone to one. We have no idea what it is, to give a good author talk.

We are not saying here, to our so-called followers, that we need help. No. Nor are we

saying that we need advice. Far from it.

But, if any of you have previously done such talks, or have attended one, we would be

interested in your thoughts about what makes a good author talk. You might send such
